Catalyzing Global Agricultural Innovation
Challenge
PepsiCo faced the challenge of aligning global agriculture teams, growers, partners, and technology stakeholders around shared priorities for digital and sustainable agriculture. With participants spanning more than 30 countries, teams were working in different contexts, using different tools, and engaging farmers in different ways. There was a need to create a common space where people could learn from one another, share practical experiences, and build the relationships needed to advance digital transformation and strengthen resilience across the agriculture value chain.
Implementation
Global Impact Collective partnered with PepsiCo to co-design and deliver the first-ever Agricultural Innovation Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. Together, we built an agenda that reflected strategic priorities while creating space for regional discussion and growers’ perspectives through panels, breakout sessions, and a poster session. We supported overall content strategy and communications, worked closely with speakers and poster owners to clarify their ideas, and collaborated with other vendors on event logistics.
During the summit, we facilitated an interactive workshop that invited participants from around the globe to share how they were experiencing both the challenges and opportunities of agricultural innovation. We used a mix of table discussions and interactive digital tools to capture the discussion. Throughout the event, we focused on creating space for shared learning, open dialogue, and connection around digital tools, grower engagement, and emerging solutions.
Impact
The Summit helped establish a shared foundation for collaboration across PepsiCo’s global agriculture ecosystem. Participants strengthened relationships across regions, exchanged practical ideas, and gained clearer perspectives on how data, AI, and innovation can support productivity. These connections and insights created momentum toward a more resilient and innovation-led approach to agriculture across the value chain.
