Challenge
We investigated the factors influencing financial inclusion, such as regulations, economic and technological infrastructure, and financial literacy to construct a roadmap aiding FINCA's expansion into rural and agricultural markets.
We interviewed Haitian entrepreneurs to develop user-profiles and map the journey of a user through the FINCA ecosystem. We also assessed FINCA's competitors' strategies and investigated the financial and technological factors influencing access to microloans.
Solution
Our technological roadmap for FINCA included developing a USSD application with a POS system located within community hubs. Access to information and financing is now improved.
